'Oistins
Boatyard' by

'It
was a few years ago that I painted
this picture of the boatyard at
Oistins. Presumably the
fishing business is now
booming. When I last saw
this view the many boats on the hard in need of repair had
gone. Hopefully back at
sea. Take yourself to the party at Oistins on a Saturday night;
the vibe is wonderful, the freshly caught and cooked seafood
is superb. One small word of warning - beware opportunist
fingers! Don't let it put you off, the party is full of lovely
people having a great time, just be careful.'
