A NOTE CONCERNING
FRAMED PAINTINGS
For display purposes and to help protect the painting
these pictures are framed by the artist. During transportation and exhibition
these frames may occasionally suffer slight damage and the customer is also
asked to bear in mind that although the paintings are framed to the best of the
artists ability, and are generally considered to be of good quality, the artist
is not a professional picture framer.
The purchaser of a
painting is quite welcome to keep the frame, and unless the customer requests
otherwise the painting remains in, and is shipped in its frame.
The
sales contract relates only to the painting. The frame does not form part of
the contract and no discounts will be given for damage to, for defects in
manufacture, or for the customers decision to have the painting
re-framed.
It
is recommended that the painting be shipped in its frame,
although it should be considered that this does increase the
weight and size of the picture which will result in increased
shipping charges.
To
communicate with the artist on any of these matters please fill
in the mailing form and be
sure to quote your email address.
This
policy is that of the artist and relates to paintings supplied
both by the artist himself and by his agents and
representatives. Commissions are generally not framed except at
the customers request.
