It was a few years ago that this painting was made of
the boatyard at Oistins. The fishing business now seems to be booming.
When the artist last saw this view the many boats on the hard in need of repair
had gone. Presumably back at sea. Take yourself to the party at
Oistins on a Saturday night, the vibe is wonderful, the freshly
caught and cooked seafood is superb. One small word of warning -
beware opportunist fingers! Don't let it put you off, the party is
full of lovely people having a great time, just be careful.
